We will be hosting guest speakers from two non-profit organizations that St. Christopher supports on an annual basis.  After the sermon is given at the 10 am Sunday Service, the guest will speak for a few minutes about their organization and the services they provide.  A short reception for questions will follow in the Parish House.

Sunday, April 14th
The Lighthouse, Annapolis

This organization provides emergency shelter, transitional and supportive housing, homelessness prevention, and related support services to people who are homeless and at risk of homelessness in Anne Arundel County.

Sunday, April 28th
The Fisher House Foundation
Fisher Houses are owned and operated by the Department of Defense or the Department of Veterans affairs in association with an attached hospital. Each provides military families housing close to a loved one while they are receiving medical care. These are temporary residences, not treatment facilities or counseling centers, but enable families to try and balance hospital life with home life.

Community Food Drive ~ Ongoing

St. Christopher by the Sea collects non-perishable food items for the "Fresh Mart" at The Y in Pasadena.  Fresh Mart is a community-based food pantry, serving local families with healthy food. Donations can be dropped off at the Parish Hall (building to the left of the Church). This is an ongoing food drive.
